Significance of Rudrabhishek Puja
Rudrabhishek Puja is a powerful Vedic ritual performed to please Lord Shiva in his Rudra avatar — the fierce, transformative, and benevolent form of Shiva. As per Ramayana, Lord Ram performed this very puja at Rameshwaram before his final battle with Ravana to seek divine strength, clarity, and protection.
This ritual is known to remove negative energies, destroy planetary doshas, and offer immense spiritual purification. It helps devotees overcome life challenges, karmic hurdles, and mental turmoil, while bringing peace, strength, and success.
When to Perform Rudrabhishek Puja?
- On Mondays (Somvar), which are auspicious for Lord Shiva
- During Shravan Maas (July–August), the most sacred Shiva month
- On Maha Shivratri or Masik Shivratri (monthly Shivratri)
- On any auspicious Muhurat based on your Rashi, Nakshatra, and Tithi
Rudrabhishek Puja Rituals & Procedure
The puja is conducted either Live via video call or through a personalized video recording from our Vedic center. In both cases, your name, gotra, purpose, and location are taken during the Sankalpa.
Rituals performed:
- Ganapati Puja – For removing obstacles and ensuring success in the ritual
- Kalash Sthapana – Energizing the sacred Kalash with divine vibrations
- Rudra Suktham Chanting – Recitation of Vedic hymns invoking Lord Rudra
- Rudrabhishek – Abhishekam of Shiva Lingam using:
- Panchamrit (milk, curd, ghee, honey, sugar)
- Ganga Jal, Bilva leaves, Sandalwood, and Holy Herbs
- Aarti and Prasadam – Concluding the ritual with divine offerings and blessings
Live or Recording Option – You Choose One
You can participate in one of two formats:
- Live Puja – You and your family will join the ritual through a video session. The Pandit will guide you in real-time while performing the puja on your behalf.
- Recording Option – A complete video of your puja will be shared with you within 24–48 hours. Your Sankalpa will be included in the recording.
Only one option (Live or Recording) may be selected per booking.
